Free vs Pro — what's the difference?

VoicePad offers a 14-day free trial so you can try dictation before buying. Pro is a one-time purchase with no recurring subscription.


What to check during your trial

  • Dictate a few short notes in your usual language and environment.
  • Try history, search and the themes available in your app.
  • Test the Orb or Direct workflow supported by your platform.
  • If you use a desktop app, try local AI Tools after setting up Ollama.
  • Check sync with your phone and computer if that is part of your workflow.

Choose the license that fits your devices

The current purchase page lists separate mobile and desktop options, plus a bundle. Check the platform coverage and device allowance shown for the option you select. An older license or a Founding Member entitlement may have different coverage.

Use the current pricing page and the upgrade screen in your app for the terms that apply to your purchase.


After the trial

Use the app’s upgrade or activation screen to continue with Pro. The features available after a trial can depend on your platform and app version; the app will show your current access.


Founding Members

Eligible Founding Members receive lifetime Pro access across all four platforms. Activate with the email address registered for the program.
