Why only English and German? When will more languages come?

The Help Center currently documents English and German for dictation. More languages are planned, but a translated website or interface does not by itself mean speech recognition is supported in that language.

Three different language settings

  • Dictation language: the language you speak for transcription.
  • Interface language: the language used for app labels and menus.
  • Website or portal language: the language used for online pages.

Check the language options in your installed app before starting a recording.

Why support needs more than a model

A multilingual speech model is only part of a complete dictation workflow. Quality also depends on punctuation handling, correction vocabulary, silence filtering, command phrases and testing on real devices.

Switching between English and German

  1. Stop your current recording.
  2. Open Settings → Language.
  3. Select the language you intend to speak next.
  4. Make a short test dictation.

The documented workflow uses the selected language rather than automatic detection.

Request another language

Search the feedback board for an existing request and add your vote or use case. If there is no matching request, describe the language and platform you need.

When will it arrive?

Check the roadmap for status and the changelog for a confirmed release. This guide does not assign dates or promise a fixed language order.
