Who builds VoicePad?

VoicePad is built by Alex, a master bicycle mechanic and self-taught developer based in Filderstadt, Germany.

It started with a workshop problem

Repair work keeps your hands busy. Alex needed to capture parts, repair details and other notes without repeatedly putting down tools to write. He wanted a dictation tool that worked locally and kept spoken information on his own device.

That practical need became VoicePad: a way to speak a note, turn it into text and use it in the rest of your work.

What guides the product

  • Local processing: voice recognition on your device.
  • Practical workflows: dictation, history and ways to use your text in other apps.
  • One-time Pro purchase: no recurring subscription.
  • User feedback: real problems help shape improvements.
